Welcome to the ACPEA Conference 2024 - 'Back to Reality'! Join us in-person at Belvoir Vale RDA for a day filled with practical demonstrations, learning opportunities and the chance to network with like-minded professionals within the field of Equine Assisted Therapy.
TOPICS TO INCLUDE:
Long reining, setting up in business, hippotherapy in practice, how to help an RDA coaches get the most out of their riders (including the observation of a group in action) and a dedicated question and answer session on any ideas or issues you have in mind.

How to create a sustainable business in equine assisted physiotherapy. Group discussion and feedback from practising members.
11.00 Observation of an RDA session.
11.45 Demonstration of a hippotherapy session led by Jennie Wilkinson.
12.30 Discussion and Q and A following on from the practical sessions.
12.45 -1.30 Lunch and an opportunity to network.
It may be possible to have a guided tour of this amazing new centre.
1.30 Demonstration of long reigning led by Karen Thompson RDA advanced coach.
2.30 Feedback from Nona Dane regarding the long reigning session observed at the HETI Congress in Budapest.
3.00 Tea
3.15 Classroom. How to help RDA coaches get the most out of their sessions. Q and A’s and general discussion.
4.00 Finish.
Drinks and snacks provided. Bring your own lunch.
Sturdy footwear, hard hats and gloves are recommended for the practical sessions.
