Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Equine Activities (ACPEA) is a self-governing network who are active in providing education and support for its members.
Our Mission
The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Equine Activities is a professional body which is proactive in empowering its members by facilitating learning and development opportunities, supporting innovation and sharing best practice.
We provide high quality evidence-based physiotherapy, using the equine in the treatment and intervention for people affected by illness, injury and disability.
Hippotherapy and Equine Assisted Therapy
The equines movement is used to influence and engage sensory and neuromotor systems. A partnership with "Therapist, Equine and Client".
International Affairs
As a professional network we believe in learning and improving practice through collaboration, as well as sharing best practice with other countries.
Regional Representatives
Within the UK and Ireland there are ten ACPEA regions, with a Regional Representative allocated to each region.
