EASP offers mandatory training to members

ACPEA is a member of EASP, so APCEA members are able to access the following mandatory training if they wish.

Welcome to the Winter newsletter from the Equine Assisted Services Partnership.
We are delighted to announce an exclusive e-learning package for EASP members.
Having listened to the views of the membership, we heard that commissioners, funders and service users often require proof that staff have completed current training in many areas and that they are completing Continuous Professional Development (CPD). These courses can be difficult to find and fund, particularly for individual practitioners.
Working in Partnership with The Mandatory Training Group we are pleased to offer a package of online Statutory and Mandatory Training to EASP members.
EASP members can access 13 training modules for just £19.99+VAT per person per year.
The arranged statutory and mandatory on line training modules cover the following areas:-
• Health and safety
• Manual handling
• Fire safety
• GDPR and Data Protection, levels 1-3
• Risk assessments
• RIDDOR
• COSHH
• Equality and Diversity
• Prevent
• Adult safeguarding levels 1 -3
• Child safeguarding levels 1-3
• Designated Safeguarding Lead
• Conflict Resolution, referred to as De-escalation training
Each EASP member can put forward employees in groups of 5 delegates who would each access and complete the training in their own time. Multiple groups of 5 names can be submitted from a single organisation and for groups of 4 or fewer, EASP would co-ordinate grouping them into fives.
All training is CPD compliant and the NHS and Social Services recognise the qualifications.
There are many other training modules available which members could ask for a deal on and there are also free training modules which may be useful for some individuals as part of a CPD portfolio.
The e-learning system has a good record management system so that all completed training is logged ad there’s a well thought through processes for staff joining or leaving part way through the training year.
