HETI announce initiative to compile and publish a list of books authored by professionals in the field of Equine Assisted Services
HETI shared this email with members on 7 April 2025:
Dear Colleagues,
We are excited to announce an initiative to compile and publish a list of books authored by professionals in the field of Equine Assisted Services. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase valuable contributions to the community and increase awareness of the field.
This initiative is non-commercial and aims to promote awareness of Equine Assisted Services. However, only books authored by individual HETI members or by organisations that are HETI members will receive additional visibility. This includes promotion on HETI’s social media channels, Newsletter and in the Global Gallop magazine, as well as the option to include a purchase link alongside the book description.
If you are an author but only affiliated with a HETI member organisation (rather than an individual HETI member), this promotional benefit will not apply. We warmly invite you to consider becoming a HETI member to access these opportunities.
Submission Criteria:
Relevance: The book should relate directly to Equine Assisted Services.
Authorship: Books must be authored or co-authored by professionals in the field.
If you are a co-author, please ask the other authors to provide written authorization via email for publication on the HETI website and/or social media.
Professional Quality: The book should maintain a high standard in terms of research, writing, and presentation.
Peer Recognition: If your book has received an award or has been cited as a reference in research, please inform us.
Each proposal will be reviewed, and we will notify you regarding whether your book will be included in the published list.
If you wish to submit a book, please complete this form. If you have multiple publications, please submit one form per book.
We look forward to highlighting the expertise and contributions of professionals in Equine Assisted Services!
